Read moreThis is my second time at this island. It is a peaceful and tranquil place to stroll around, despite the amount of tourists, the island is very big, so there's still a lot of area where it is pretty quiet.
There are also public restroom and food areas where you can get some food.
There's also some animals where you can see on the island. I saw ostriches during autumn, and wild rabbit during winter.
During autumn though, there were lots of small flying insects that will fly into your face or fly above your head to get warmth from you but they will die very quickly once they land on you. I have no idea what they are but it does not seem to bother most people as they seem pretty harmless.
During winter, they have this ice sledding area where people can ride a float down the pile of snow. Temperature here is still comfortable....

The wharf is a popular tourist destination, as it is the main way to get to Nami Island. We visited during the peak autumn season on a Saturday. There was a large influx of visitors, but the management was poor with only a few staff at the gate and no proper queuing system. Ferry costs 14000 KRW for adults. You can also take zipline or speedboats to go to Nami island.
