Royal Portrait Museum — Attraction in Jeonju-si

I came here in December. This is one of the few urban sites that I have seen in Korea that is truly beautiful. The old buildings of the palace are all open to viewing and the Hanok town that surrounds it is very pleasant as well. The street food that is to be had is very delicious if a trifle messy.

One thing that will really help people to enjoy this place in wintertime is to wear waterproof boots that can stand the dirt. There is not a blade of grass and the palace yard has only a few...
