This is an experience. Locals clearly loved this place - we got here at 11am and it was consistently packed the entire time we were here. The entrance is kind of hidden - there is a door behind the glass covered with sticker. There’s basically only one thing on the menu so just take a seat and the food will be brought to you. They will give you the hot soup, an egg in a bowl, and some seaweed. Take a spoonful of rice and bring it over to the egg in a bowl and have some egg with your rice (we learned that you do not drop the whole egg in the hot bowl of soup!). Then have some seaweed on the side or I guess sprinkle some on your rice. I got the non-spicy version and thought it needed a bit of flavour so I added a bit of kimchi to each bit. It is truly...

coming here while waiting for KTX to Seoul. Ordered Bibimbab, Kongnamul Gugbab and Moju (Moju is a thick Korean drink with fairly low alcohol content. It is based on makgeolli—traditional Korean beverage made with fermented rice—which is brewed with herbs and spices that usually include cinnamon, ginger, jujube, ginseng, and licorice root.

Moju is lightly sweetened, and although it is traditionally enjoyed chilled, it can also work well as a heated, warm drink. It is usually associated with Jeonju, and it is considered a great hangover remedy that goes well with hearty South Korean soups and stews). This was my first time trying Moju and I love it. Light but unique taste. For me Jeonju has the best Makgeoli and Moju for sure 😍

Everything was...

It was OK. No meat in here, so the big thing about this is that the bean sprout soups with rice is that it's a refreshing soup to have in the summer. Do not bring a big group here. You'll be waiting for a while, and it's a LONG line. We managed to cut in early, because we were only 2 people. It was OK, but for the hype about this being a really good local food? I understand, but I'd rather go with 비빔밥, sorry. But hey, it's a local popular food, and I can say that I had it. Sadly, my star knock-off is my friend say they saw one of the staff members come out of the restroom and didn't wash their hands. To be honest, it's not just this place, this seems to be an issue with most Koreans I've noticed. So keep...
