Museum of Modern History of Korea — Attraction in Paju-si

The entrance fee was 8,000 won per person. At first, I thought it was expensive, but after visiting, I realized it was quite reasonable. This is a private museum where the owner has dedicated his entire life to collecting artifacts from the past and bringing them together for us to see. Although I’m Vietnamese, I spent about 1.5 hours here and thoroughly enjoyed my visit, as some of the historical items were very similar to those from Vietnam...

I just left there. Super Excellent! Great immersion effect. I almost didn't go. It looks almost like one of those museums you just walk in and walk out of from the outside, but it goes underground and expands. Well air conditioned too. That also helped as it was hot and humid outside, suddenly it felt like autumn in 1960's Korea. That's one of the best museum experiences I've ever had in all my decades and travels. ...

The owner singly collected hundreds, if not thousands of cultural items/trinkets throughout the decades and has created a walk-through museum of them.
