내 용

국립민속박물관 파주는 개방된 공간(Open Building), 개방된 소장품(Open Collection), 개방된 기관(Open Institution)이라는 가치를 중심으로 2016년 개방형 수장고 및 정보센터 설계 공모를 진행하였습니다. 당선작은 ㈜신한종합건축사무소의 “시간(示間)”으로 “시간이 보이는 공간”이라는 개념을 바탕으로 설계되었습니다. 과거와 현재, 그리고 미래 사이를 시간의 켜로 보고, 수장고를 켜가 싸여 있는 공간으로 기획하였습니다. 과거의 유물을 단순히 보여주는 공간이 아니라 과거와 현대를 이어주는 공간으로, 수장고의 시각적 개방감을 강조하였습니다.(출처 : 국립민속박물관 파주 웹사이트)

국립민속박물관 파주는 보이는 수장고 + 열린 수장고 + 열린 보존과학실 + 민속 아카이브 + 어린이 체험실 + 교육실로 구성되어있다.

입구에 들어서면 키오스크로 입장권을 발급받아야 한다.(무료이다, 어린이체험실은 별도)

많은 부모들이 어린이체험실로 자녀와 함께 오셨다.

10인 이상 기관 관람 시 (www.kguide.kr/nfm001/) 예약하시면 된다.

박물관 입구에 들어서면 보이는 수장고이다. 직접보면 더 멋있다.

유물들을 터치하면 자세히 설명히 나오는 터치스크린 룸도 있다.

보이는 수장고 내부이다. 각 전시물마다 번호가 있는데, 수장고 내 키오스크에서 검색하시면 간략한 설명이 나온다. (나중에 가상현실 적용되서 휴대폰으로 대면 360도 돌려보면 더 재밌을 것 같다.)

​박물관의 역사에 대해 나온다. 필자는 3번째 방문인데 첫번째 방문때는 전시가 넘 허접하게 되있었다.

지금은 꽤나 수집품도 모이고 민속아카이브 수집품도 80만건에 달한다고 한다.

​예전 사진들과 민속학 관련 책자들도 전시되어있으며, 독서할 수 있는 공간도 전시되어 있다.
