Its inside Seoul Forest so you can enjoy the park too.. Though it looks like plant museum more than insect garden... BUT i found it really interesting and informative for kids as well as adults. My kids really enjoyed it and observed different kinds of insects life cycles and 🪴 🌿 🪴 plants of so so many different kinds. One side has all types of cactuses 🌵..it was worth watching their different sizes and shapes and even different shades. They were so beautiful that one for sure wanna touch those beauties.. They have built small bridges and benches where you can take your 📸 photos among these lovely plants..which were giving you the feeling as you are in a jungle.. The problem with this place was how the turtle was kept. There was a big turtle in a small enclosure with few enrichments. The turtle constantly walked around in circles, a sign of a stressed and unhappy animal. You can see it’s tracks in the photo. Everyone in my group felt saddened by this, both foreigners and Korean. The garden is well-lit and clean. The cacti were especially attractive to me. However, it is quite small (takes around 10-15 mins to walk through), and I think there should be more insects to live up to its name.
