Originally based in the UK from high-school, head barista Sang-ho Park boasts an impressive resume. He was the overall champion at the 2013 UK Brewers Cup, won the 2015 Coffee in Good Spirits award and served as head roaster at James Hoffman’s legendary Square Mile Coffee Roasters.

Read moreTaking a walk around Ttukseom and Seoul Forest I found this coffee shop on Mango Plate and decided to go in for a coffee.
The menu had a good selection of beverages available from regular coffee to drip and their own signature drinks. I was drawn to their drip coffee and opted for the Columbia La Esperanza whilst my wife ordered the Panama Savage.
The Columbia was described as tasting of pomegranate and plum candy with tropical hints. I was really impressed by this coffee blend and I would say it was one of the best cups of coffee that I have had in a very long time. I was able to pick up on those plumb notes in the coffee which are very bold and a good balance of acidity in the coffee. With every sip you get a lovely smell from the coffee and then the taste of the coffee.
The Panama Savage I only had a sip of and enjoyed it but I enjoyed my coffee to much to give an accurate review of the Panama Savage.
