We took the mosque-cathedral and the Jewish quarter tour this morning. The tour basically consisted on two different tours with two different guides (there was an option to continue with a third tour in Alcazar). The thing is, that when I made the reservation for this tour, nobody mentioned two different tours. There is no problem with that, as long as the guide of the second tour waits for the group at the end of the first one. Unfortunately, we were the ones waiting for the guide for about 20 minutes! Meaning those who were counting on a 2 hour tour (as mentioned while making the reservation), and made more plans for later (such as another tour, or checking out from the hotel, or catching the train/bus to their next destination - just to name a few) were surprised to find out they cannot join the second part of the tour. As a matter of fact, even the first part of the tour left about 10-15 minutes later than the time mentioned in the reservation. As of the quality of the tour itself - no doubt both guides were very knoledgable. But their English was not the best. It was sometimes problematic to understand what they were trying to say. The guide who showed us the mosque-cathedral was, again, very knowledgable, but the problem was he wasn't interesting enough. One could see it on almost everybody's faces. The second guide was a bit more enthusiastic, but too many times he found it hard to complete sentences in English, so not always did we get what he was really trying to say. All in all, we felt it was not worth the price of...
Read moreWe had a terrible experience, easily the worse tour we've ever been on. Our guide was very bad, his English was broken and hard to understand, he spoke super slowly, as if we were children, and he literally repeated the same information 2-3 times, sometimes even more. We were with him for 2 hours but he told us so few things that 20 mins would have been enough.
We really felt like we were scammed, and we would have easily learned much more reading online, not to mention if we had rented an audio guide for a few euros. We could see the other Spanish guides were explaining much more, but maybe because we booked the English tour they thought it was ok to provide us with such unacceptable service.
The second half of the tour we had a different guide, who was much better. However we were disappointed that the tour of the Alcazar with her only lasted 45 minutes. We ended up finishing our morning tour at 12.45, although it was advertised as a 4-hour tour that should have ended at 13.30. Basically almost 1h of the promised tour was missing.
Don't waste your money with a company that is not professional and clearly does not check the quality of the tours they offer! There are many other companies in Cordoba, we wish we had chosen...
Read moreIf I could give a zero then I would. This is a horrible company. We spent 3 weeks in Portugal and Spain. We have been all over the world and unfortunately, companies in Portugal and Spain are not great at doing things timely. Previously on our trip, if something came up with a tour, then we would contact that specific company to figure out what was going on and they would be super responsive. With this company, there was a mistake in the meet up location, but we were early so as soon as we realized no one was there, we contacted them in order to try to figure it out. We got no response. We tried two different forms of contact and no one replied. We waited and waited, but still no answer. We finally had to forfeit our tour after a half hour passed. We later contacted the company in order to tell them what happened and that we needed their help, but couldn’t reach them. They were not willing to give us any sort of refund on the tour and they eventually became unresponsive. I have never experienced such bad customer service. When you are abroad, things can be difficult or mistakes can happen. That’s why companies should work with you in order to help, but this was not the case. I would never recommend...
