Very good, but we were a bit unfortunate. When we were seated, we were greeted with olive oil and fresh bread. Our waiter was clearly very experienced and kind, there is an English menu, but maybe we had a bit of a translation problem. We asked for a grilled pork sirloin to be cooked well done and received it medium-rare. However, a different waiter brought the dish to the table, so maybe there was a communication error in the team / kitchen. We called our waiter after a few minutes, and he was nice enough to take the sirloin back to the kitchen and have it grilled up to well done. It was still tasty, but I'm sure it would have been even better in the first place. Before people get the wrong idea, a person in our party has some stomach issues, so they want something as simple as possible. Usually, they go for plain grilled chicken, but there was no chicken dish available here, so they went for the grilled pork instead and was fine. For the rest of our group, we had the baked octopus and creamy croquettes, both very good. I must mention, the croquettes came with the best mayonnaise ever. For desserts, we had mille feuille and pastel cordobesa, both quite good but not as mind-blowing as the mains. Here again, a different waiter brought our deserts, and we received one of the dishes wrong. The younger waiter left, and moments later, our waiter was back with the right dish. I can't say much about the drinks. We only had water and a glass of vermouth, which seemed a bit better than what they offer in other restaurants. However, it is yet another place that doesn't serve lemonade, which I find very strange about Spain. In terms of atmosphere, I have to give only 4/5, in spite of the pictures of the rooftop area. I suppose that area is available only in the evening or via reservation, because we were seated in a small side room on the ground floor. This room could fit only about 4 tables, and the other customers were talking between themselves very loudly, making it hard to have a conversation at our table. I know this isn't the restaurants fault or something they could fix, but maybe you can get around it if you book a table in advance. Beggars can't be choosers, no? Overall, very good food, a bit pricier than usual, nice location, but you probably get the best experience if you speak Spanish.
