We heard so many good things about this restaurant so we made a reservation for 2 at the rooftop. We sat at the rooftop which overlooked the gorgeous view of Mesquita Catedral de Cordoba bell tower. The view was absolutely amazing. There’s no doubt this restaurant has gorgeous romantic atmosphere. But, the reason we’re giving this restaurant a 3 star because the food is totally overrated. My husband and I were very disappointed. We’re not even sure how this restaurant manage to get Michelin star. We ordered the flamenquin Cordobes and that was a big disappointment. Since it’s a Michelin star restaurant, we thought the food will come out fresh and hot. Instead, it was room temperature and too crispy. This dish already pre-made and been sitting in room temperature for a long time. We also ordered roasted tomato with burratas cheese. The cherry tomatoes are not roasted and the cheese were cold. When we cut into it, it doesn’t ooze out like expected. Normally, there’s usually some sort of balsamic vinaigrette sauce or something to balance out the flavor. This dish was absolutely flavorless. Maybe Cordobas serve differently than most places? It was not good and tasteless. For the main course, my hubby ordered the steak, that was cooked perfectly but there’s no sauce to balance the flavor. I ordered tuna tartar. My tuna was pretty good so that’s an extra star. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is not fresh and this place is too overrated. I recommend go to the hidden gem, the mom and pop restaurants hidden in the alley instead.

Very friendly staff who are happy to help. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and is tastfully decorated. We tried the soup and the aubergine. The soup wasn't to my taste but my partner enjoyed it so perhaps it's just not for me! I know this is a very traditional and typical dish of Cordoba but it tasted overly sweet to me. The same goes for the aubergine which was smothered in the sugary sauce. There was actually very little in the way of aubergine so the overwhelming taste was that of syrup and fried batter. For me it tasted more like a dessert than a savoury dish. Again, as I haven't had this dish before it's hard for me to say whether this is due to my tastes or an error in the way this dish was made. The sangria is delicious and beautifully presented. I think the prices don't quite reflect the food in terms of quantity - you pay 3.80 euros for a tiny piece of toast with a single anchovy on it. We wish we had ordered mains to get a better idea of what this restaurant has to offer but we were ordering small in the hopes of sampling more tapas elsewhere. I recommend trying this place but ensure you book in advance! They are seemingly very popular.

We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Cordoba. The food was delicious and well portioned. We had the gazpacho, salmorejo, and the croquettes. Some dishes were even served as an experience. For instance, I had the gazpacho, and it was served as a collection of vegetables in a deep plate. Our waitress then came with a serving bowl and served the soup at the table. In terms of service, we can only be positive. We came in without reservation, and we were presented with options to sit. We asked for the air-conditioning to be reduced because of recovering from illness, and immediately it was turned off and confirmed if that was ok. Further, the waiters were kind and attentive to customer wishes, even though speaking limited English. And they were all dressed properly, which also makes a restaurant visit an experience. This restaurant is located in the old cobblestone city center of Cordoba. The interior is dressed with ornaments referring to farming, agriculture, bullfighting etc. Makes for a great view and lots to talk about.

Walked in for lunch on a Friday & joined a queue. We thought we had to wait for a long time but there were actually quite a few empty tables upstairs. It’s a formal restaurant with white napkins & suited servers, probably one of the spiffiest restaurants in Cordoba so don’t go expecting a casual “casa” homely food/ prices. (I get annoyed reading reviews by European travelers who keep exclaiming that a place is “cheap” when it costs 50€ a head. No, in Spain that is not cheap by Spanish standards). The eggplant was good, oxtail was excellent & the pork not bad. But nothing I can really shout out aloud about. The restaurant is in a lovely old building & has interesting decor, including a central courtyard and private rooms for large groups. Service is efficient but not warm/ friendly, just the normal spanish standard. In short, not bad but not fantastic & a tad overpriced (but then again being in the center it kind of has a right to maintain high prices)

situated in what used to be a house and you can feel it, this is an elegant restaurant and tapas bar. i opted for the bar but more on that later. the restaurant is a series of rooms, big and small, allowing you to enjoy the excellent food and service in a setting of your choice, including a rooftop with views of the mezquita tower, which seems to be the chosen option for the well-to-do and well dressed patrons of this establishment. the tapas bar is unassuming and expertly handled by antonio, who I can now say is a good friend, and one of the reasons I kept coming back. the other reasons were the place itself, tiny but very inviting, and the tapas and drinks (i kept to cerveza and finos, a local wine with a stronger taste and presence, of which the bar stocks endless varieties and options, from very dry to very sweet)

To start this off I would like to say that the staff are extremely pleasant and warm. When we came in we were greeted positivity by all the staff walking by. We had ordered 2 meat dishes the beef sirloin and shoulder pork steak. Both dishes were amazing and cooked perfectly, as I usually don’t like peppers I was surprised that they were amazing. We also ordered 2 desserts and they were both very very good. The cheesecake was good and the sorbet was one of the best I have had and complemented it perfectly I just wish there was more of it. The chocolate cake was great too my partner couldn’t finish it so I had to but I was not complaining. Overall it has been one of the best restaurants I have been to regarding service and atmosphere, would recommend greatly.
