Avoid spending money on this one... Casa Andalusi was a perfect example of how to put together some artifacts, create a storyline and then charge an entry fee. This historical "attraction" was located in the midst of the Jewish Quarter, so we should have known better than to believe the hype. We have numerous friends who own and display period artifact at least as interesting, and we can appreciate it all for free. Because of the historical significance of Cordoba and the Jewish Quarter, we did not expect to be taken advntage of as tourists. Be forewarned. There were many other legitimate attractions where a fee was justified, but we suggest you avoid spending money on this one. Someone was filming something when we visited, so we were not even allowed to tour the entire house for our...
Read moreI would have given this place 3-4 stars based on our initial experience, if the receptionist hadn’t been so rude and passive aggressive upon our leaving the premises.

The ambience is quite peaceful and relaxing, but there really isn’t that much to see for the price.
Upon leaving we were asked to return the powerpoint handout we received upon entry, which had slipped our minds as we had placed it in one our bags due to our hands being full carrying tickets, flyers, heavy bags, cameras, phones etc. The initial aloof charm of the host / receptionist immediately changed as he proceeded to rudely lecture us for our heinous mistake … needless to say, this unnecessary aggressiveness spoiled our visit considerably. For 4 euros they should be giving these away for...
Read moreBoth museums are amazing and very informative creating a very unique andalusí interior and vibes. The tickets are reasonably priced; 8 euros for both museums. Right after you walk into the museum, the receptionist will give a leaflet or a tablet with the language of your choosing providing the visitor with background information about the main theme of the place along with the artifacts inside the house. The receptionist (Musa) in the house of alchemy (the other museum) is very well-informed about the Andalusí history and Cordoba in general. He recommended many places and tourist attractions to us. Thanks to him we had a tasty lunch at Salon de te! I highly recommend anyone visiting Cordoba to...
