One of my favorite authentic places in Cordoba. It‘s the place where the old folks meet to refresh during siesta or have some long conversations in the evenings and you may also flow in local Spanish life.
If you are walking down the street and can feel the smell of wine you can be sure that you are on the right way to "Bodega Guzmán". Wine... I really enjoyed all of them, my favorite was the red sweet one – it was very rich and flavourful. You may also try matured wine for a very good price!
This place is not about fancy restaurant kinds of meals, you may try a wide variety of traditional tapas at an affordable price, but I would recommend „Carne con Tomate“ it was noteworthy.

Read moreGreat place. We stood at the bar and watched football. Fino is €1.40. White wine is €2. So the tapas isn't free, but the most expensive plate is €3. It's not haute cuisine, it does have a great vibe and is a pleasure to be there. 5 tapas, 1 racion, 2 wines, 5 finos = €28.75. I wished that St Andrews in Fife could have a place like this. But minimum wage, high rates, the 15% NI levee for employers and extortionate rent will ensure that it will never fly. Will just have to come back to Guzman instead. James Blick was right, this a great local place that accepts foreigners. However their toilets could do...
