We literally got lost finding this place, we kept looking for Taberna Casa Salinas and we missed it several times. It's a bit confusing cause in the front it says Casa Pepe Salinas Taberna. We got confused if this was the right restaurant we were looking for hahah. Oh well...I guess Google should change it to it's real name not just the Taberna Casa Salinas, with the name Pepe to it lol. A caña, salmorejo(which is a Cordoban dish) with boquerones fritos con limon(Andalusian style) perfectly satisfied our cravings. Salmorejo is a must! You might think it's just a tomato soup, no you're wrong. Having them with the right restaurant like Casa Pepe Salinas, you would not go back to your old boring industrial canned tomato soup. Their boquerones is one of the freshest anchovies I've ever had. It is fried, yes, but never a not a soggy, oily, raw inside kind of fried. I think one of the things that people in Spain perfected. Their fried dishes and not oily. At least for me. And though we don't speak Spanish fluently( vice versa) our server was very helpful and very friendly.

This place is really good !! The staff is very nice and attentive. Mohamed was my waiter and he was amazing. Fran was also amazing with advice on not only the food but also with tips about cordoba . They explained the history of each plate I had . The food was amazing. I wanted to try something typical from Cordoba and they helped me choose. I had the “remojon cordobés” and the “Mazamorra” and a tinto de verano … This was delicious and refreshing on a very hot day. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the patio is not hot at all because it is climatized. The music they play sets such a nice atmosphere. I was very pleased and would highly recommend. Will definitely visit again. Thank you Mohamed and Fran!

Good restaurant, just north of the Juderia and close to one of the gate to the old town. The room is big and families with children are welcomed , the restaurant providing child chair and treats. The waiters are nice and helpful. The food is ok and come at a reasonable price and in good size portion. I mean it’s not the best local food ever, but it’s not your bad quality quickly heat in microwave found sometimes in touristic...
