Well curated park in between downtown and the railway station. Some of the metal benches are covered in dove poo, others are clean and invite for a siesta. I tried to sleep but was woken by a police car in full siren mode racing through the (car free) park. There's also a small moorish building that looks like a...

HERMOSO. ACOGEDOR. SIEMPRE GUAPO. LOS JARDINES DE LA MERCED (jardines de Colón) SON UN PUNTO DE ENCUENTRO AL AIRE LIBRE PARA TODA LA FAMILIA CORDOBESA. COMO DATO CURIOSO, DENTRO DEL PARQUE EXISTE UNA MEZQUITA QUE SE ENCUENTRA ACTIVA, EN LA CUAL SE REÚNEN LOS MUSULMANES A PROFESAR SU RELIGIÓN. EN SU CENTRO UNA IMPONENTE PILETA DE AGUA... DE BELLA Y DELICADA ESCULTURA. BASUREROS EN CADA ESQUINA. GENIAL!!! FUENTES DE AGUA POTABLE, PRADOS BIEN MANTENIDOS Y FOLLAJE A TODA PRUEBA HACEN DE LOS JARDINES DE LA MERCED, UN PULMÓN VERDE PARA LA CIUDAD DE CÓRDOBA EN PLENO CENTRO DE LA CIUDAD.
