Wow! What an amazing experience! This was the attraction I was most looking forward to do and it certainly did not disappoint. Dan was super friendly and his knowledge was on another level. We now know all there is to know about the local banana industry plus more local facts such as the volcanic and village history.

The Twizzy is such a fun car to drive, especially on the mountain roads and is very smooth and comfortable. I am 6 foot 5 but my partner and I managed to fit comfortably in one car and it didn't really impact the performance of the vehicle. Even if I was offered to drive a Ferrari along them roads, It still wouldn't be as fun as the Twizzy! It's agile and can fit around the narrower parts of the tour without worry of having to give way. You are given proper instruction on the car and each is fitted with an easy to use radio, so you are always in contact with Dan in the lead car. He always makes sure the convoy stays together so no worry of being separated. There are some parts you do go on a main road, but very quiet ones and again, just follow what Dan doss in the lead car and you are totally fine. The balance between driving and stops is spot on also.

The complimentary special coffee was really nice, you also get bottled water on the trip so you can stay hydrated.

I seriously reccomended this tour and I'm amazed it isn't more well known, as our hotel had no idea it existed. To top it off, Dan also booked our taxi for when...

We spent 11 days in Tenerife and went on many excursions. The Twizy tour with Dan was simply the best experience out of all of them. It was essentially a private tour and Dan is absolutely full of local knowledge. He is very passionate about providing a great experience to everyone on the tour. I never knew we'd find the whole platano / banana process so interesting. I think 90% of people just assume Tenerife is about the resorts & tourism... but it was so refreshing to learn about the local history of Tenerife and the natives, as well as driving these super fun Twizy's around the mountains, visiting some very special places on the way. I think the ticket price is totally justified and this should be a must do for anyone visiting Tenerife of whom wants to learn more about the local history, the Canarian culture, the geography, bananas, coffee and everything in between! We could've easily toured the rest of the day. Really well done to Dan and thank you for being so engaging. Thank you also to Niki for helping to arrange all of these amazing sessions! Should we come to Tenerife again in the future, we will definitely enquire about other excursions with you, or at least recommend to anyone visiting to do your...

This was easily the highlight of our trip to Tenerife! I found it randomly on Google Maps and it absolutely deserves all the praise it gets.

The tour guide Daniel is a walking capacity when it comes to anything regarding Tenerife and the Canary Islands overall. He told us so many awesome things and facts about Tenerife, its history, natives, food, culture, nature, you name it, and showed us many unique places that we wouldn't have been able to discover on our own! You could feel the passion and love he has for the island and his guidance was just flawless.

The tour also turned out unexpectedly private as the other people cancelled and going around the island on a Twizy was so fun and unique that I can't recommend it enough.

We visited a banana plantation, a local manufacture where they produce tasty jams and condiments, and we tasted the local coffee barraquito.

We even tweaked the plans we had according to Daniel's recommendations and it was well worth it!

Thank you so much for this amazing tour and...

Almost 200 reviews and all with 5 stars, need I say more? If you are coming to Canary Island, my only advice is to ditch all the touristy stuff you had planned and just do this one tour. The Twizy is easy to drive, roads on Tenerife safe to navigate but made fun with Daniel’s guidance over a walkie talkie. With the Twizy, Daniel brought us off the beaten paths to fully penetrate into Canary Island’s trade, history, culture, nature and much more. Daniel has so much wealth and knowledge about this island plus his great story telling skills, there was no bored moment with him. Love the Barraquito cafe he brought us to for the break and free drink he offered. The cafe has lots of character with great views and beautiful weather. We did several other tours on Tenerife but this has to be the best that we have experienced.
