The beach is split into 3, the farther being the less crowded one when we were there. There are 2 lifeguards constantly checking out and reminding any one doing something unsafe. This is particularly important as there are rocks nearby and with strong waves it may be risky. There are 3 natural swimming pools or "piscinas naturales" to enjoy if you prefer something safer. The sand is black and big. Actually we found it more comfortable than on other beaches. When there is wind, you don't end up with more sand on the towel than under it.
