4 of 5 stars as it is a really lovely natural beach excellent for kite surfing. 1 star is lost as no effort made for employing lifeguards, access for elderly or persons with disabilities, no public washrooms (nearest las Terrazas Mall about 20min walk from beach depending on traffic) no showers or foot wash. Garbage cans onsite are insufficient for amount collected here. Bicycle / hiking trails are marked but are solely dirt track and trail system is cut off from City of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and mostly cutoff for easy safe access for anyone living on the Westside of the highway. Lucky that winds majority of the time blow Inland and not from the South. The waste treatment plant in the next valley to the South of the beaches has powerful smells that trail and beach users will catch depending on the wind direction. Overnight parking is possible but expect that if you park for too long you will be moved along by the police. No set-up / hook-up or permissions for RV camping here. Las Terrazas Mall does sometimes allow RV's to stop stay for short periods of time. Tent camping is possible however winds, highway noise, most of the good flat spots also being vehicle access with danger of being driven over And lack of privacy due to groups of kids late at night or others using the area. Could be an excellent spot for the area to develop for short term beach camping and for use by groups such as scouting. Decathlon store for outdoor gear - in case you forget anything - can be reached by walking trails - and many shops and stores in Las Terrazas Mall have gear and equipment pieces as well. Bus access is limited however there are stops on the GC-1 highway about 30min walk away. And there are Global buses (not City buses) that travels to the Las...
