Horrible experience. I cannot recommend this cafe under any circumstances. I would even say it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant in Spain.
When I walked into the cafe there was a long queue and I had to wait briefly in the doorway. It was an automatic door. Normally, such doors should not close when people are in the doorway. But this door didn‘t work properly and therefore closed and squeezed me in. After I freed myself, I noticed that the bottom of the door had already been broken and the broken surface made a crack in my shoe. If I hadn't been wearing a shoe, it might have cut my foot. That's super dangerous, especially for people wearing open shoes and small children. I'm also really annoyed that my shoe is now damaged. (After all, it's an original Birkenstock for 60€.)
I pointed out the situation to the waiters, but no one really cared. This could actually be a case for an insurance claim. Or do you think I like my shoe damaged?!
If the staff there had any decency, they would at least have given me a coffee on the house or something similar for my damage. But they reacted unfriendly and disrespectuful.
Please replace the door and if you do not have the money to do so, deactivate the locking mechanism when you have customers. I will also report this incident to the local public order office or a similar public body because I find it really negligent and dangerous.
And teach your staff customer courtesy or better replace them with friendly people. Food was also not good & the whole place overall...
Read moreGood afternoon! I live in Lloret de Mar . I visit your cafe at Fenals all the time. Recently I found out that I have a problem with sugar in my body. When I went to cafe today, I wanted to order a matcha, but I asked if it had sugar in it. The waitress said she didn't know and when I asked her to find out, she said it wasn't her job and started talking rudely, when I explained that I have health problems and it is important for me to know, she just laughed and said it was my problem, not her.I agree with that, but I just asked to know if there was sugar in it. It's incredibly unpleasant. Right behind me, she was rude to a woman with a small child. It is...
