🏖️ Playa S’Arenal - Clean Beach & Relaxed Vibes 🌊☀️
Playa S’Arenal is a great place to spend the day in Palma. The beach is clean, the water is clear, and the general atmosphere is very relaxed, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or just enjoying the seaside. The vibe is lively yet laid-back, with plenty of space to enjoy the sun.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind: you’ll likely encounter people walking around trying to sell sunglasses and other cheap items, which can get a bit annoying after a while. Also, like at many popular beaches, it’s best to keep an eye on your belongings as pickpockets do occasionally try their luck. The good thing is that people around are very aware, and locals or other beachgoers won’t hesitate to call them out loudly if they see anything suspicious.
Overall, it’s still a fantastic beach to visit in Palma with its clean sand, refreshing water, and friendly atmosphere. Just come prepared, relax, and...
Read moreThe beach is nice and the water is very calm. The price for 2x sunbeds and an umbrella is 18 EUR. You can also pay by card but they always prefer cash if you got it.
The sand feels like dust, very soft, it's not the generic type of sand you would find on other beaches. It barely even sticks to your feet, which I personally enjoyed.
This beach would easily be 4.5 or even 5 stars if there weren't sellers bothering you every 10 minutes trying to (illegally) sell you different things. There are also people trying to sell you Sangria, screaming their lungs out and killing all the peace and quiet. I'd say it's a great beach to try out, but you probably won't enjoy it if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing time.
P.S. If you're tempted to buy stuff from these sellers on the beach, I'd suggest looking for the very same things in nearby stores since that's where they buy them from and just resell them for a...
Read moreI only give it 2 stars because the water was nice, warm, and mostly clean. But on the beach it is very hard to find sunbeds and sheds. There are a lot of people, who try to sell you every kind of fake poducts, like sunglasses, purses, bags, towels… they don’t let you in peace, they are just coming every 5 minutes, loudly screaming. A few people try to sell you coctails all the time, screaming like “Sangria, Mohito, Pina Colada”. Few woman try to sell you a massage. Unfortunately you can not enjoy your holiday on this beach, and it was the nearest to our hotel… and the very bad experience is that on the first day somebody stole the phone of our friend. It was in the bag, and we had a place on the sunbeds, but we all went in the sea. It was also our fault, we shouldn’t take our belongings to the beach, but it is also not normal that you can not feel safe...
