This is an authentic local Spanish cafe and not a fancy tourist-(trap) inflated venue..., the vibe of the venue and the food made me remember the days when I lived in Spain a few years ago and my spanish colleagues took me to the places they liked.
Came here with the family for a quick meal in a bit of an odd time of the day and they didn't have all we wanted to try, the menu is not super diverse also.. However, what we had was good and the attention was good. The Paella (for 2) was amazingly good and reasonably priced at 11 per person, I totally recommend it, it was enough for two adults and two toddlers if you order a couple of sides/tapas to round it up and try different things. I found it so satisfactory and honest that I went the day after to have my morning coffee there and even with different staff, I had the same "authentic" experience and nice/friendly interaction with the barista and the servers.
Don't be fooled by the simple appearance of the venue, most times the fancy/fake appearance doesn't translate into good food/experience or doesn't justify...
