Read moreHaving visited just about every country and every big city in Europe I can't remember of a more impressive main street than this one. Way busier than London's Oxford Street, way larger than Via Monte Napoleone, way nicer and liveable than them all! All along the way buildings are beautiful. When asking some expert about their architectural style you'll get to know that most of it is a mish-mash of styles (including neo-gothic, modernism and the bourgeois grand residence prevailing in the late XIX century) all accomplished under the umbrella of romanticism which favours all sorts of revivalism.
