On the hotel website, we found a double twin room for a discounted, non-refundable price of 62 euros (original price 68 euros). When we tried to reserve and pay, it changed the price to 99 euros. We tried this twice, got a discounted rate of 62 euros but each time it switched the price to 99 euros when we went to pay. So we took a screen shot confirming the availability of this room and discounted rate of 62 euros, and called the hotel. We explained what happened to Manuel. He did not know why this happened. Since we could not book this rate, Manuel booked the room for 99 euros, and since we wanted a quiet room at the back, the rate was now even higher, 110 euros. Manuel said we should show him the screenshot of the discounted price when we arrived. When we checked in and shared the screen shot, Manuel said it must be a problem with their website. When I requested that he honor the discounted rate per the screen shot, or at least provide some discount, he refused. Instead, he said he could offer two cups of coffee for breakfast. I was offended by his offer. To me, this is bait-and-switch. Even if there was an error in their website, the right thing to do was to apologize and honor the discounted rate based on the evidence. The room was spartan, with very limited space, and only worth 62 euros a night. We won't be back and may elect to file a...
Read moreVisiting this hotel reminded me that “you get what you pay for,” (and it usually ends up costing more in the long run!) Thought this hotel would be a good cost-effective option, and was utterly disappointed!
The beds are thin coil mattresses which were extremely uncomfortable. The street noise was so loud, it woke up my children several times. Passing cars, motorcycles, and street sweepers made it impossible to get any good rest. The hallways smelt strongly of cigarette smoke — as you can see, you’re greeted in the lobby with a large and tacky cigarette dispensing machine.
We decided to end our reservation early because it was so uncomfortable. I hoped for reasonable customer service, but after trying several times to find an attendant in person (during the business hours), I called and was told very rudely and repeatedly that “not a single penny will be returned.” I understand this is within the cancelation policy, but the utter lack of compassion, respect for guests, and self-respect as a business owner was astounding to me. Few times in my life have I encountered such bad business, and I don’t like writing reviews like this: but I wish more honest reviews had been posted online to prevent us from the unnecessary stress, lack of sleep, and loss of money from visiting this hotel. Hope this review helps some nice families find a different...

I came alone and became a family member. The reception by the hotel manager Manuel was so warm and helpful, I felt completely comfortable from the first step in this family-run hotel.
The rooms have their very own charm due to the antique, well-kept furniture. Everything is very clean, very well maintained. I slept extremely well. The rooms have air conditioning and even a fan.
In the morning I was greeted by Miguel, who runs the hotel together with Manuel. The breakfast was incredible, whether continental or egg dishes - Miguel leaves nothing to be desired. Always has new ideas and is behind the bar and in the kitchen with all his heart. As soon as I got up, I was looking forward to meeting Miguel and having breakfast.
I also liked the hotel so much because it is also very popular among the locals. You meet the local people who come for coffee, beer or lunch. I thought that was really great, as a tourist among the local population.
And then I have to mention Marianne, she recommended so many excursion destinations & tips and beautiful places to me, I was so grateful, you wouldn't even get such a service in a tourist office.
An incredible service - for me it is very clear, I will be back!
To the best hotel on the south coast of Spain.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,...
