First of all let me say, if your not very fit don’t bother! The walk down to this beach is truly dangerous, I’m 56 and very very fit, there is absolutely no way my other half would be able to do it. It’s a boulder field with some drops being 4 to 5 feet. Took me about 15 to 20 minutes to get down there due to some people in from who were not quite as confident with their steps. They were about 25 ish in age, just to give you an idea how hard it is. The beach is okay. Some rocks but good amount of sand. There were only two people nude, 3 if you count me, with only about 20 people there. I was definitely the oldest person there, average age was probably 25 with some 17 / 18 year olds there.
If I’m honest, not worth the effort, on the day I went not really nudist.

However, we were expecting a pristine and peaceful beach and were met instead by an encampment. Several tent dwellers have made it a semi permanent base, with small walls and enclosures built around the tents. The washing lines, bags of trash, dog crap, and much reduced beach space spoil a potentially beautiful place. We left after a few minutes. Note: This beach can be confused with Playa de Frailes, a couple of miles south, accessed by a...
Read moreNot sure if rocks or the path has shifted recently, or if we just somehow weren’t able to find the way down, but at the moment we found it is not safe to try to descend to the beach without equipment. Hike down is ok to a point when the path drops and becomes a pretty sheer rock face. Of course this happens just as you can see the beautiful beach ahead. We’ve climbed Teide and done difficult 20k hikes recently and are in good shape, so I wouldn’t recommend this place to those that aren’t because even the hike to the point we were at is likely to be...
