Restaurante Delicias — Restaurant in Mogán

Not RECOMMENDED! Yesterday 15.11.21 was my last day holiday in Playa del Cura and I want to spend my rest money for good dinner with drinks in good restaurant and I think Delicias will be very good for last night. About 7:30 pm I went inside and saw that only a few tables were taken but waited for the waiter to show me a place to sit. When he came he told me ALL TABLES IS REZERVED TONIGHT and thay don't have table for one - for me! I was surprised but ok - I said thanks and went to the restaurant next door. Had a good dinner, dessert and drinks. After 8:45 pm I decided back to Delicias and speak to manager becaus I saw 6 or 7 tables It was still empty not to many people inside. Waiter told me That there is no manager right now could you come tomorrow morning. I sad no because tomorrow morning I going to airport back to my country. I told him I want to complain about full reservation restaurant but I see after 1 hour is still half empty. I felt very offended like social outcast! I can't believe I was treated so badly specially if they offer service outside neons - : "Restaurante Open" "Solo de only from 18:00 - 23:00" "Restaurante terrens" "Restaurante 25 Mt" SICK! I told waiter I will be writing NOT RECOMMENDED OF THIS RESTAURANT on the Internet on Facebook, Google and any other site! Seriously the worst restaurant in Playa del Cura. I’ve eaten here twice now and can honestly say it’s pretentious food at stupidly high prices. Terrible value for money. To top it all off I got food poisoning the second time I ate here! Staff are slow and couldn’t give a damn. Playa del cura is a nice little place, but try any other restaurant there, Delicias is a rip off. It also isn’t really a real restaurant, it’s the breakfast room for the attached hotel, it feels like they are selling over priced food, hoping people will believe that equates to better quality, in this case, it definitely doesn’t. Additionally they claim to have a five star listing on Tripadvisor, it’s even printed on their menu, but they don’t. That’s pretty dishonest. The first time I ate here they added two extra charges to the bill and I had to fight to have them taken off. There is something disingenuous and fake about this...

We ate here twice and both times were excellent.

The first time was when we had just arrived and my husband had Spaghetti Bolognese and I had homemade bread and chips

The second visit was later in our holiday.

The usual waiter had been replaced by Bea and she is a fantastic host

As a vegetarian I found a few dishes on the menu which is good.

I chose the Mushroom lasagne,my husband a meat eater had pork medallions

The mushroom lasagne was delicious, and I wished we had extra time on my holiday to have the other veggie dishes.

My husband also thoroughly enjoyed his pork dish. We also had desserts which were amazing. I had brownies and my husband had an ice cream dish
