Taste of Marrakesh restaurant — Restaurant in Mogán

My husband and I ate here twice during our visit to Playa del Cura.

We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed our evening.

I am a vegetarian and there were a few options, which is a bonus as it can be difficult to find options for vegetarians in smaller resorts.

On the first occasion my husband the Lamb Tagine and I had Spinach Birwst, bruschetta and hummus.

My husband thought the lamb Tagine was excellent and I really enjoyed my meal.

On our second visit my husband had a beef dish and I had Falafel, garlic bread & Hummus (cannot remember the exact dish my husband had)

Again the food was fantastic!

As with all places in Playa del cura, the drinks measures were huge,my husband had bottled Strongbow, and I drank vodka

As a light drinker I found one drink was more than enough

We felt the service and attentiveness of the staff was fantastic and you will not be disappointed if you visit the Taste of Marrakesh

We've been there once during our stay. the location is pretty nice, very detailed and lovely decorated. The waiter was very friendly, attentive and courteous. But the portions were rather small and unfortunately, we were not informed,while ordering, that the side dishes had to be ordered separately. So in our case the expectations and reality did not really match. Ordered plain steak and chips for my son and it came out with garnish and vegetables so he wouldn't eat it. Asked for medium to well done steak and it was rare. Ordered a drink and was told it would be 5 minutes as they were busy. Staff were very much under pressure and lots of customers complaining about their orders. Ordered canarian potatoes and got 3!!
