A very calm place with various spaces to explore. I especially loved the Arab-style garden in the corner, where one can enjoy the soothing sound of flowing water. It is definitely worth taking a walk to relax and enjoy, as there is no heavy traffic nearby, making it easy to unwind and appreciate nature in the middle...

Este magnifico parque muy cerca de la zona comercial de la ciudad, es uno de los pulmones verdes del centro de la ciudad, a poca distancia del Corte Ingles y de la Gran Via de la capital murciana. Como elemento caracteristico historico-cultural destaca la antigua chimenea de la fabrica del Salitre, que ocupo estos terrenos hace muchos años. De aqui que este espacio sea conocido tambien como el jardin de la Polvora. Aqui se ubica tambien, un antiguo edificio rehabilitado, que hasta hace poco estaba ocupado por la oficina municipal de estadistica, otro edificio que ocupa el museo taurino, y muy cerca el edificio del centro regional de artesania. La oferta se completa con un bonito estanque con patos, recientemente reformado, y un Kiosko-terraza para tomar un cafe, una cerveza o un buen aperitivo, y zona de juegos infantiles.
