Dining at this Mexican restaurant was, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing culinary experiences I’ve had in years. And I don’t say that lightly. Having spent several weeks in Mexico earlier this year, indulging in authentic cuisine directly at the source, I was genuinely stunned by how far removed this meal was from anything resembling the flavors, textures, and soul of Mexico.

Let’s begin with the basics: the Quesadillas. Bland is the kindest word I can use to describe them. The cheese, clearly a recurring theme across dishes, lacked any depth or character. Moving on to the main courses—the Burritos—things went from uninspired to downright offensive. My wife’s vegetarian Burrito was little more than a soggy wrap filled with an overwhelming amount of lettuce, canned mushrooms (yes, canned), and a sauce reminiscent of salad mayonnaise. No beans, no rice, no seasoning, and certainly no gratinated cheese. My Burrito was essentially the same, with a scattering of unremarkable pork in place of the mushrooms. To make matters worse, my wife couldn’t even finish her main course—it simply tasted so unappetizing.

The Margaritas were equally disheartening. Overly sweet and lacking the kick of tequila, they felt more like a sugary cocktail experiment gone wrong than a true representation of this iconic drink. As someone who’s managed bars, competed in cocktail competitions, and made thousands of Margaritas in my career, I can confidently say these missed the mark by a mile.

The service? Chaotic at best. Orders were forgotten, water was requested twice and never arrived, and my wife’s vegetarian appetizer came with chicken—an error that, in itself, is difficult to overlook. Ironically, the forgotten water did appear on the final bill, adding insult to injury.

For a bill exceeding €50, the experience felt like a complete affront to the idea of hospitality. I’m more than willing to pay for great food, but this was an exercise in mediocrity and mismanagement. My honest recommendation? Take the entire team to a restaurant that knows what Mexican food should be—perhaps Plaza Mexico in Alicante—for a masterclass in how to deliver authenticity and quality.

I don’t enjoy writing scathing reviews, but honesty is paramount. This was not just disappointing; it was a...

We came here to have lunch on our way to some other place. We asked for Quesadillas as entree, and then had 3 different tacos and a burrito (we were pretty hungry). Everything was decent in size, and delicious in taste. The tacos were non spicy (pastor), mid-spicy (huerito) and extra-hot (el chapo). The tacos (two per serving) were very tasty. Our favourite one was el chapo, because although it was spicy it had a lot of flavour (and were pretty used to spicy things, so didn't find it extreme). The vegetarian burrito was only ok: tasty but could have used some beans or tofu or some kind of protein source. The drinks looked great, but because we were driving we couldn't indulge. Attentive service, but not very fast (could be explained because we were on rush hour). Great atmosphere...

Great Mexican restaurant! In my opinion fairly authentic, similar to American style Mexican food and maybe a little Tex-Mex. The salsa is amazing, super spicy, worth the 1.5€, definitely adds a lot to the experience. I had a margarita which was delicious. First they brought me the wrong drink (in the picture). I tried it and it was ok, it’s a frozen minty thing, but then they swapped it for the margarita. My main course was the Chingon, a steak burrito. The meat is seasoned really well. Great flavor. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food. Good kids plates. Good service. Nice atmosphere. A little expensive but overall worth it.
