Albi Cafe Restaurant — Restaurant in Nerja

The service unfortunately left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed as if they were working against their will, and it was difficult to communicate. From what we were told, the restaurant doesn’t have enough menus, and at first the waiter didn’t even want to leave one with us – though eventually he did, almost reluctantly. When the food was served, the dishes were placed at the far end of the table, so we had to reach and pass everything ourselves.

As for the food, the experience was mixed. We ordered croquettes, a smash burger, and a hot dog. The croquettes and their presentation were disappointing – inside was more of a mush with pieces of bacon rather than a proper filling. The smash burger, however, was excellent, and the potato chips served with both the burger and hot dog were also very good. The hot dog itself was average and initially came without any sauce; only after about five minutes did we receive ketchup and mayonnaise. Without them, it was rather dry.

My experience at this terrace was extremely negative in several important aspects. Firstly, the failure to comply with basic customer service protocols and courtesy is alarming. The lack of attention to these measures shows a lack of professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Additionally, the treatment by the staff was unpleasant and unwelcoming. Their rude and unpleasant attitude creates a tense and unfriendly atmosphere for customers. The lack of courtesy and empathy is unacceptable in any service establishment.

In summary, this terrace does not meet the minimum standards of quality in terms of customer service, courtesy, and ambiance. I cannot recommend this place to others due to these significant deficiencies that negatively impact the customer...

We are holidaying in Nerja at the moment. We have visited a second time. The food is good and they serve good ice cream but not so generous as the other ice cream places here. Staff are not welcoming at all, it’s if it’s too much trouble for them. The older gentleman with beard looks a misery and can’t even be bothered to make eye contact when you walk into his cafe. The young girl looks the same and don’t even know how to say thank you. The older lady is a little better. If I was management I would be sending them all on a customer service course. Don’t think we’ll be returning here because you ferl like they can’t...
