Walk over there if you can! We tried driving, it was a mission just to get closer to the factory. People actually DO live in/around the factory. When we were there, the kids didn't feel comfortable sticking around for too long, especially after seeing a 'resident' changing in the shadow. So go with a group of (loud) people if you can, it'd help to make it a lot safer.

Great place for atmospheric photos, definitely run down. There are people definitely living there (though I didn't actually see them) and quite a bit of rubbish, but still well worth it. Cool seeing the aqueduct flowing through the buildings.

Antigua fábrica azucarera que encierra secretos fascinantes rodeado de enigmas que lo hacen un lugar único. Paredes llenas de dibujos modernos que aún quedan en pie como testimonio del interés que despierta. En la actualidad se mantiene la nave principal de la fábrica, la chimenea, el estanque y de forma diseminada antiguas construcciones de naves y viviendas de los obreros. Se pueden hacer hermosas fotos del lugar y de la localidad de Nerja, sobretodo al atardecer. Es una pena que se terminara por perder y haría falta la intervención de la junta para rehabilitar el sitio como bien de interés cultural y no dejar que termine como campo de golf y hotel de lujo.

This is a great place to have a nice walk around there is so much to see and it's all very interesting! Shame about the homeless people trashing the place while they stay there and the people that graffiti all over the walls! Its said to be haunted aswell with lots of reports of stranges things happening. Would love to see that but havent been at night yet still on...

Cool place to take some pictures, especially when the sun is hanging low. A bit difficult to reach, especially by car, but must say it's really worth to visit. It's an abandoned factory filled with beautiful grafity. It's also a short walk to the topside of the aquaduct from here. Which was also quite impressive and...
