A salad with a view...what a disturbing experience to eat at Restaurante Cueva de Nerja 😅 After a beautiful visit into the caves,we want to spent lunchtime on the beautiful terrace of the local restaurant. We want to take a light lunch so our choices went to tropical salads (avocado,shrimps,cherry tomatoes,garlic,potatoes,red oignons...)when the waitress arrived she told us that there is no avocado anymore in stock but it was fair enough for both of us...and then the nightmare begin...we received 2 small plates composed by industrial fruits (Orange,ananas,peach,etc...) Nothing linked with the original choice! After a big common laugh,we decided to move into the small city of Maro to spend our money into a local fresh restaurant 👌please don't fall into the tourist trap...

Absolutely terrible. It has a perfect location and view but do not go there for a drink or something to eat. Every person who works there is just so unhappy, they don’t want to be there, chucking your food and the people next to us didn’t even get their order so they left. We got the impression that no one knows what they are doing. Additionally, an Argentinian couple sat at our table whilst we were getting our things and nearly turned out into a fight. Again, the staff didn’t do anything and let it all happen and get more out of control. My advice, take food and drinks with you and go there just to enjoy the view. It is a shame because if there were good management and structure in that place it would have been great. Therefore, 1 star....

We recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience! We ordered the daily special, which was sole fish, along with soup and caramel cake. Every dish was delicious. Just coffee was not very special! The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Initially, we planned to order something else, but they suggested trying the fish of the day, and it turned out to be a fantastic recommendation.

The view overlooking the sea was breathtaking, adding to the overall ambiance. Everything from the food to the service was exceptional.
