We went as a group of 9 kids ages ranged from 5-16 . The park is smaller than others but for us it was perfect as we always knew where everyone eas. It was a last minute decision so the tickets were sold out online. We arrived at 12:15 and waited maybe 10 minutes in line. It was quite fast. We entered and went straight to the lockers. Lockers are small and cost 50c however everytime you open it's another 50c (there is a change machine there). There is seats around the pool and in other areas but they were taken very quickly. Many people had their bags and coolers on tables and chairs and everything seemed safe. There's quite a large grass area where you can sit also. If you want to be guaranteed a certain chair area is recommend you buy tickets in advance and get there right before opening time. Wait time for the slides was about minimum 20 minutes to 45 minutes. The ground can be hot so have something for your feet. As the day goes on you don't need them as much as the ground is wet from everyone in line. We did have a group of moms who took the joy out of it for some people as they would send someone to wait in line and the rest would go down another slide and then they would skip the queue and go join. This for annoying for many people as they were a large group. We counted at one point that 8 of them went in front of us. Thai happened numerous times and many people complained but nothing was done about it. We ended up just blocking them from getting past as did another man who ended up in a huge argument with them in the line in front of all the kids. We ended up leaving that slide and went to another one. Staff were informed and said there was nothing they could do. We ate at the cafeteria and the food there wasn't great. We had 3 chicken burgers, a bacon sandwich and 2 hamburgers with chips. The one burger was good the other was very cold. We sent it back after the server touched it and agreed it was cold but there was a bite taken out of it. They returned with the same burger warmed up. Again this was not good as I said the server who was cleaning up all the tables out in the dining area touched the actual burger and then expected us to eat it. They also forgoy the sandwich and we asked twice for it. Staff were nice but seemed slightly irritated that we complained. So I would highly recommend bringing your own food. There are showers and change rooms available and the pool water was good and not too crowded. Overall we had a good experience and we would return. We spent about 4 hours in total. €18 per adult (we had 7) €15 per kid (we had 2)
A great day was had...
Read moreCOULD BE GREAT...BUT... We went today....way way way to many people in a what is a small water park...long queues for short rides....they should either limit numbers or do two time slots...but unfortunately another example of greed over good....
They need a new manager or someone to come in and go over the place...all the queues are down to really slow attendants and stupid rules.... Example...a slide for 4..we had 6 kids under the age of ten in front of us...didnt know each other...so they put them on one by one... Just stick all 4 on at once...
And I know you have to have safety rules but many slides you can see from top to bottom...so you have a person held back by a chair then allowed to get on the slide but have to wait for the Go...they then slide down an 80 metre slide, were the life guard can see them all the way...hit the water...walk across the pool...get out of the pool then 20 seconds later the next person is allowed to get ready but then has to wait a further 30 seconds for the lifeguard at the bottom watching an empty pool to give the all clear....could be safely sped up so easily.... The slides are decent...but spoilt by waiting for no reason...
Stupidest rule of the day was on the slides where you set off next to either another or another three....if one person is wearing a tshirt they have to go alone....for no reason whats so ever...they would have no effect on anyone else, even if slower....
Final thought...in the UK or Italy it would be kicking off every 2 mins in the queue....the Spanish have this thing were One will get in a queue and then when they get near the top another will push through to join them, then another, then another then another....ended up having a few arguments with adults trying it....
Over all could be a good visit but ruined by to many people and slow...
Read moreWe were 2 adults and two children aged 8 and 11 years. To start with an 11 year old child pays full adult price, which, in my opinion is a bit unfair. However, there is very little difference between adult and children prices at 19 and 16 euro!! We got to the park around 11.30am and even at that stage, there was a long queue for folk who had not pre booked. Thankfully, the pre booked queue went down very quickly. The park itself is good for the age group I went with but coming into the summer here with the high temperatures we will not be back until the temperatures drop quite significantly as the queues for the slides can be very long and there is no shade at all whilst in the queue. Throughout the park there are numerous places to set up a picnic. The grass area with the umbrellas is small, and these spaces quickly fill up. However, they are well places to keep an eye on wandering children. The larger pool has sun loungers all around it, but they are charged as an extra. This pool has a very deep end and a shallow end, which was super busy, so it did not make for a comfortable experience. Also, lots of folk just standing in the pool chatting, which is understandable as you really do need to keep cool in this weather. However, you could not go for a swim in this pool due to the number of folk standing in it. Overall, I'd say give it a go if you have children 7 or 8 years +. Bring a picnic and blankets to sit on..... ice creams and drinks reasonably priced...
