We have been here a few times. Usually a good experience very nice decor and lovely setting. We went last in Nov and my wife had Rib-eye Steak it was medium as requested but very chewy (bad piece of meat). We mentioned to staff, no offer of replacement just "would you like it cooked a bit more" over cooking it was not going to sort it. She tried a bit more but gave up after a few bites. I finished my food which was good and we asked for the bill from a different Waiter and mentioned again to this waiter about the steak.

He arrives back with the bill saying he spoke to the manager and best discount he could do was 5 euro off the steak, really poor attitude. Handled more professional would have not been such a big deal, these things happen. I think it this shows a lack of good management. This is one of the most expensive places in the area the steak was €21.50 and when your giving back pretty much your full dish because its inedible you do feel hard done by paying €16.50 for it. We paid our bill without giving a tip, which I hate doing we always leave a really good tip (Silly thing is if they gave the steak for free we would have left a good tip).

Speaking to friends about it later it seems a few people have had issues here recently. Two couples we know don't go here anymore over issues which again they reckoned where just badly handled by the staff. One was over an issue with returning a burger that was serviced cold. They were made to feel it was their fault when the staff explained on returning the burger “the problem was the tomato on the burger was cold but this is the way it’s serviced but it this case we heated the tomato for you”. Come on just admit the mistake apologise and rectify it, mistakes happen.

It’s a pity as it has put us off the place now but that said there are so many good restaurants in the area (most better value) so we won’t be at a loss. Want a really good steak try the “Club House” on Campo De Golf. Want a real Italian try “O’Pazzo Italiano” about 1K up the road the food here is amazing but...

We’ve been visiting this restaurant since it opened and it has always been my wife’s favourite. During our two-week stay we came here three times, spending a considerable amount each time, as we have done on every trip to Spain. Sadly, the service on each visit this time has been noticeably poor. In the past, we excused small issues because the food and service had always been great, but our most recent visit was simply unacceptable.

We waited around 20–25 minutes before anyone even took our order. My wife ordered a starter, I didn’t, and we asked for our two young children’s meals to come out with the starter, which they did. However, after that we waited over 40 minutes with empty plates before I had to flag down a waiter to ask for the starter and children’s dishes to be cleared so our mains could be served. During that time, no one checked whether our food was okay or if we wanted more drinks.

In total, it was about 1 hour and 40 minutes before my main – and only – meal arrived, and when it did, my steak was very rare, despite asking for medium. By then, I’d had enough and didn’t bother asking for it to be redone. Again, no one asked how the food was at any stage. The service was inattentive and slow from start to finish.

We were so disappointed, especially as this used to be our go-to restaurant. Sadly, it’s hard to justify coming back after such a...

This place was new to me and recommended to me for its spareribs so we wanted to test it out. Waiters are all dressed nice and smart and were welcoming us. Our reservation was found and we got seated in the corner of the terrace. Menu and drink card was promising but drinks are very pricey compared to most other places. My daughter ordered a Amaretto Sour and I asked for a fresh and sour recommendation and was told the Kiwi Sour was really good. Hands up for allowing us to enjoy a drink before ordering food not everybody does this so you end up getting all at once. The Kiwi sour unfortunately was whining sweet so that was not a good recommendation to follow but at least I tasted something new🍹 We both ordered the spareribs and they looks amazing and I must say they were fall of the bone tender😋 Didn’t get the fried onion on top but it added some crunch to the dish. I’m not sure if they are cooked from start to end on the bbq because the lacked flavor in terms of smoke so they might be done in the oven. But they tasted good and the bbq sauce is always a personal preference and this one was okay but not great. What annoyed us most was the house music where we were very close to the speakers. I get that the restaurant wants to signal a hipster atmosphere but the clientele with families and small kids was really not the ideal...

A Culinary Gem in Rojales – Day & Night We keep coming back to Day & Night in Rojales, and every visit confirms why. The quality of the food is consistently outstanding – every dish is crafted with precision, care, and a true passion for gastronomy. It’s clear that the chef is someone who not only knows his craft but deeply respects and loves it. You can taste it in every bite. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is just as exceptional as the cuisine. It’s rare to find a place where dedication to quality and genuine hospitality come together so perfectly. Highly recommended – a must-visit for anyone who appreciates excellent food and sincere, heartfelt cooking. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

I recently ordered what was advertised as a burrata, but it turned out to be just mozzarella. I was quite disappointed, as I was expecting the rich, creamy texture of true burrata. On the bright side, the tomatoes served alongside were excellent—fresh and flavorful. I also tried the scampi pasta, but it was quite boring and lacked any real excitement or depth of flavor. It felt somewhat underrated in taste. However, I've previously enjoyed their pizza and spareribs, which were quite delicious and flavorful. Those dishes definitely left a better impression. Overall, there are some hits and misses, but the mislabeling of the mozzarella as burrata was a bit disappointing.
