An absolute beautiful beach in Salou. Lovely sand and warm water ( well cold when you first get in but soon your body adapts to it super quickly).
It's very busy on hot days.
Has showers all along the beach area to rinse yourselves as well as wash your feet.
Also toilets not far, and also scattered all along the promenade.
Theirs kids play areas scattered all along the beach so it's a huge bonus.
It's just across the main strip, so literally minutes walk from Salou centre.
There's a couple paid car parks but the spots are very tight so you have to be careful parking in there.
The deck chairs we're 18€ for the day for 2, which were pricey but the man said you can leave them and go for lunch and then come back to them as your hiring them for the full day. Although I think they need to do an hourly rate aswell as we was just hitting the beach for 2 to 3 hours so didn't see the point in hiring them for full days at 18€.
There's also Jet Ski hire, boat hire, Parasailing and all the other fun water sports there too.
This is a fabulous beach, and definitely one of...
Read moreGreat stretch of sand which goes for miles, walked along towards cambrils which was a treck and half, didn't realise how far it was until we started walking. Took about an hour from salou as we don't walk fast. Plenty of loungers at an extra cost. Plenty of beach bars along the way which would be nice of an evening to watch the sunset. The views are amazing. Lovely clean beach which also has the salou signs for Great photos and plenty of little play areas for children to keep them entertained when they've had enough of playing in...
Read moreAvoid avoid avoid. Horrendous in August, sea is packed, beach is packed, can't get anywhere near the front to sit. Can't let the kids (who are old enough) swim on their own because you can't see them. Can't go in altogether as Salou is bad for pickpockets and robberies so you absolutely cannot leave anything valuable on your sunbed/towel. There was turd floating round in the sea. Based on what we have seen here, we would never return to Salou for either a holiday or beach day. La Pineda beach right round the corner is...
