Beautiful peaceful get away. Very hilly and uneven, so Not ideal for the less mobile or those with pushchair's, unless ultra fit 🏋️♀️ We've hired a car for the fortnight, which I'm so glad we did... it also means we're not limited to the actual resort as being a small town, they bang the prices up on basic necessities, there's loads of supermarkets out of the town... again if you've no car, this can be difficult (there are plenty of buses and taxis though) The beach is black sand (there are a number of golden man made beaches dotted around Tenerife🏝) it's clean and well kept, with porta loos and life guard on site, who also hires Umbrellas and loungers for small fee. 🏖 The local bars and restaurants 🍻are friendly and some more lively than others, so no need to feel at a loose end in the evenings. All in all, this resort is ideal for a quiet chill holiday🏖 if you like to party this place is definitely NOT for you.
End note.... There's lots of retired British living here, so there's hardly any language barriers (pharmacy,🏥 supermarket,🍟 etc)
Have a fabulous...

However, on our second visit, the water was much less clear, and items that might have been flushed away were evident, indictating sewerage had been washed back onto the beach! Further out towards the harbour the water was once again clear (hour later). Hence the 3 star rating. Plenty of ice cream shops near by. Parking looked difficult, with much exhaust fumes caused by people turning round where the entrance to the harbour was closed due to being full....
