Outstanding Tapas Experience
Having lived in Los Gigantes for six years, I’ve had the privilege of visiting many restaurants in the area, but none quite match the exceptional experience at this particular establishment. Although I'm now back in the UK, I make it a point to return to this gem whenever I'm in town.
The restaurant, while smaller than most, consistently delivers an outstanding dining experience. Despite its size, it's always bustling with customers—at one point, diners would even sit on the wall waiting for a table. The staff works tirelessly to accommodate everyone, often moving or adding tables along the walkway when the surrounding shops are closed, ensuring every guest is seated.
When it comes to tapas, this restaurant is, without a doubt, the best on the island. The quality of the dishes is unparalleled—each tapa is thoughtfully prepared and bursting with authentic Spanish flavors. While service might take a few extra minutes, the wait is absolutely worth it. You can see the staff hustling back and forth, delivering stunning plates with impressive efficiency and always accompanied by a warm smile. The effort they put into each dish is clear, and it’s no surprise that Spanish locals, a true mark of authenticity, frequent this spot regularly.
For anyone visiting Los Gigantes, I highly recommend a visit. It’s wise to book in advance, as the food tends to sell out quickly, especially later in the evening. If you find yourself unsure of where to go for a memorable tapas experience, this is the place.
Kudos to the team at Tas-k—I look forward to...

We visited the place for the first time on Feb 16th and it was amazing. The atmosphere was nice and all the food we ordered (carpaccio, Tatar, stuffed mushrooms, orange chicken and asparagus) was just fabulous.
Then we came back on Feb 18th for a reservation that we did days in advance. Nothing from what we ordered earlier was available so we went for 3 new dishes. Sword fish was very average. Pumpkin hontadito was interesting and worth trying. Cauliflower flan was the worst - it had absolutely no taste. Deserts at the end were the best we tried this evening. Worst part was that we received the food 70 minutes after we sat at the table. People that ordered with us and people that came way later than us were already served with several dishes while we had to sit and wait with the bread in the basket next to us. I totally understand that it can get busy on Saturdays but this is a problem of the process - how can 4 people come 20 minutes later than you and already finish their meal while you haven’t received anything yet? You can inform the customers that the wait time is much longer or propose some appetizers at least. I am sorry but what was supposed to be my birthday dinner was totally ruined by this last visit.
There is much potential in this place but the quality of the visit is...
Read moreBasically as rating is saying. I don't know how people are leaving such a good rates or maybe a cook had a bad day. So basically we ordered few things: free bread tasted like 2/3 days bread, tuna tatar (half portion) which was really good basically the best of all what we get, tuna steak (whole portion), fish itself was tasty but side salad was over salted, I mean not salty it was totally over salted and barely could take a bit of it, Mackerel fish with potatoes (whole portion) that was the worst part of all, basically there are 2 small potato on plate which were over salted, again that was so over salted and not possible to eat, fish itself was pretty fine, only issue was a bit of anise flavor which wasn't mentioned (which should be cause that taste most of people don't like) and also we missed some lemon to squeeze it on fish.
Overall, people were nice, but just can't understand this high rating. We had eaten in many even cheeper places and food was much better. So at all we would make things less salty, portion proper (especially side things for fish like potatoes, French...
