Nice view over a section of the gorge, with many vultures flying and nesting around it. Easy reachable with the car (50 meters). There is a steep walk down to the virgen cove too, only 100 meters long but pretty steep. The walk itself gives a nice view, but at the cove there isn’t much to see

Se encuentra a unos 100 metros del Santuario de Nuestra Señora de la Peña y es el inicio de las HOCES DEL DURATON. Desde este tiene una vistas espectaculares y también se pueden observar diversidad de aves sobre todo buitres. Merece la pena la caminata desde la Plaza de España, centro de la villa. 1km aproximadamente. También esta en este lugar, concretamente donde esta el cuartel de la guardia civil el inicio de la RUTA DE LOS DOS RIOS.

Bonita ruta, para recorrer las hoces del Río Duratón, sobre todo al atardecer, con su juego de claroscuros. No es muy exigente y el sonido del agua y de las aves, así como si avistamiento es de lo más relajante. Si pasas por Sepúlveda es una parada a considerar. Tienes estacionamiento por la zona de la iglesia de la Virgen de la Peña, que merece una visita por sí misma), donde comienzas a recorrerla. Disfrútala!!
