Swimming pools of nature are much better then what humans allow. The negative with pools build by humans is that they have responsability, savety regulations etc. This is a "pool" made by nature (and partily a beach made by humans) It is a great pand beautiful place with many places to jump into the deep water from 1 to ~15 meter heights. Also a grand waterfall to get behind, water rapids to swim against and rock climbing fun. No cons, go here and enjoy the day. You wont regret it.

Fussballtor aus Seilen und Stämmen lädt zum Kicken ein. Der Sand an der Sonne wird auch mal so heiss, das Barfuss zur Qual wird. Der Pozzo bildet zwei kleinen Seen, der weitere mit kleiner Strömung. Der erste ist erst seicht, fällt jedoch rasch ab. Kinder also (wie immer) unter Aufsicht halten. Der Pozzo kann als Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen flussaufwärts genutzt werden. Das geht je nach Wasserstand nicht ohne einfachere bis schwierigere Schwimm- und Kletterpartien. Mit Kids abzuraten. Die Kraftwerkbetriebe nutzen die Maggia auch. Sie warnen vor unvermitteltem Wasseranstieg wie flutartigen Wellen, ohne besondere Vorwarnung, bspw wenns oben an den Quelle regnet. Zu Fuss ist der Pozzo sehr gut erreichbar ab den Bahnstationen. Parkplätze hats im Dorf unten an der Zufahrtsstrasse und beim Fussballfeld. Die Anwohner und Gastbetriebe bestehen darauf, dass ihre Plätze frei bleiben. An badefreundlichen Tagen kanns ab Mittag auch mal wirklich keinen einzigen legalen Platz mehr haben. Vielleicht lässt mans dann besser und fährt das Tal weiter hoch. Es gibt auch dort noch versteckte Plätze.

Beautiful place to hang out and chill. The water is very clean and it's full of rock where people can climb. The beach is pretty big and there are trees to protect from the sun. There is a football door where you can play and across the street there is a little shop with toilets.

Beautiful place - especially for families with all ages of kids.

Sandy beach and first section shallow for smaller kids.

Second section for lower jumps off the stones and third section for higher cliff jumps (needs a bit of courage and only for good swimmers).

You can follow stream upwards for incredibly beautiful views of the stone walls.

Make sure to bring a floating device!

Free toilets and small pizza/piadina place...
