After a hearty lunch at Il Fermento, we took a slow stroll through the charming old town of Bellinzona. The cobblestone streets were peaceful and quiet, perfect for walking off a meal. Our path led us to the stunning Chiesa Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Stefano, a Renaissance-Baroque church nestled in the heart of the historic district.
The moment we stepped into the square, the church’s grand white stone façade, tall rose window, and detailed statues stood out immediately. It felt calm and timeless—no crowds, just the gentle sound of footsteps echoing on the stones.
