This spa could be really wonderful but unfortunately like most spas these days, they miss the mark on some critical areas. The day we went, it was very over crowded. They allow children of all ages, which really takes away from any concept of relaxation. I don’t think anyone wants to hear kids screaming while they are trying to relax. The showers had one soap dispenser for all to share no shampoo or conditioner. You have to bring your own towels and slippers because none will be provided and I didn’t see anyone enforcing showers before people enter the pools. The grounds get really disgusting with water being tracked all over the facility. The “secrets of the Hammam” was basically what my daughter coined a “Vintage Bath” experience. Basically, you are given a small container of black soap mixed with essential oil and you rub it into your skin and rinse it off with a bowl. There is a male and female entrance but very with little privacy as the doors are constantly opening you get a very thin fabric to cover yourself. We got the impression that the person creating this experience might be some kind of voyeur. The pool, resting area, and sauna in this area are beautiful. After you leave you enter a nice space where u can order tea or snacks. This area was also beautiful and had nice seating everywhere but there was zero ventilation and the water was warm. The Moroccan mint tea was definitely a highlight. Most of the other hot pools were packed with people. The rooftop pool was also packed and anything but relaxing. The cafe had what looked like some wonderful salads and snacks but unfortunately most what I tried tasted quite old. I also got a bottle of wine with my package and it was quite frankly the worst wine I ever had in my life. The water on the floor is a major liability and we did see on patron who fell and hit his head. The same person checking people at the door in the morning, was performing double duty as a paramedic icing this man’s head. Later I saw the same paramedic/doorman performing janitorial services in the cafe. Things did die down after 4pm so maybe it’s a better experience on a less busy day or in the evening when there aren’t screaming kids everywhere. Lastly, the water all over the floor of the restroom and what could have been someone missing the toilet was disgusting. Although most of the staff was pleasant, I wouldn’t come back. Unfortunately, this was yet another moment of Tik Tok missing the mark.

I liked the architecture with mysterious ambiance and the roof pool. The problem is that all pools are more or less same temperature so you don’t get the relaxing effect of switching between hot and cold. I missed really hot furo type of bath and cold water plunge. The lake is very near but at least in April there was no access to it. Might have been the cold water I was missing. The lockers are pretty small. The steam bath in bath side too cold. The Hammam ritual was a disappointment as the rooms were not steamy enough. I liked the real herbs used on top of the steam outlets giving a nice scent. The rasul bath room was cold as the thermostat was located in the upper part of the room and cut the steam off when getting hot even if the bench was down and there was not enough steam. Finally understood that I can mix the air with my towel making the thermostat colder and getting more steam in and more evenly in the room. The Hammam cafe was quiet and nice and the tea with herbs delicious. The service was nice on the Hammam side. I might be a bit too critical as I have visited wonderful baths for example in Istanbul and Budapest so I know how baths can be at their best.

My visit to the Bain Bleu Hamam was an adventure. After a long flight from Kuala Lumpur- I was keen to explore the city of Geneva- whilst indulging in some pampering. My google translate did an OK job of describing what was on offer, but the reality was so much more than described. I was keen for a massage, and a spa. The helpful front desk people explained what was available- at short notice - and I took it. Essentially- a visit to Bain Bleu can be as simple as a bathe in the spa area - or as complete as ‘the works’ For me this involve a 3 hour pampering session - starting with the delightfully invigorating spa with rain shower and jet bubble enclosure - followed by a sauna, scrub, thermal bath, lying prone on the heated floor waiting to be summoned for my massage. All the time moving between ‘rooms’ and levels. It was completely over the top and I consider my money ($186 AUD) well spent

I've been a patron of Bain Bleu for several years, drawn by its once tranquil escape, pleasant ambiance, and reasonable spa service prices. However, my recent experiences have progressively worsened, with my latest visit so disappointing, I'm contemplating never returning.

Overcrowding On my first "family day" visit with my daughter (held on Wednesdays and Sundays), I was taken aback by the overcrowding. Despite reserving our slot online, which I assumed would manage attendance, we were met with a line out the door on a cold February morning. The dressing rooms were shockingly crowded—dark, hot, and cramped to the point where we struggled to find space for our belongings or to change comfortably. My five-year-old daughter felt stressed and overwhelmed by the tight spaces. Outside the dressing area, the situation worsened. The downstairs pool was so packed we could barely move. The ambiance meant to convey calm and relaxation instead induced panic, exacerbated by the closed, dark, overheated, and crowded environment. The upstairs pool, though equally crowded, offered a slight reprieve with its open-air setting, but it did little to alleviate the overall feeling of distress.

Safety Safety concerns were paramount due to the overcrowding. In case of an emergency, evacuating safely seemed implausible. Additionally, the long black tile staircases and floors, slick with water and dangerously slippery, were accidents waiting to happen. My daughter nearly fell, highlighting the need for rubber mats or more slip-resistant flooring—measures absent despite their obvious necessity. The lack of regular squeegeeing of the floors, a common practice in swimming pools to prevent such hazards, was perplexingly neglected.

Unsanitary The unsanitary conditions were glaring, with long lines deterring most from the pre-bath showers and a noticeable absence of swim caps, leading to an unsettling amount of loose hair in the pools. The sight of band-aids and other debris floating in the water only added to the discomfort.

Poor customer service The customer service reflected a prioritization of profit over patron satisfaction. My recent massages, performed by seemingly inexperienced masseuses, felt rushed and underwhelming, casting doubt on their professional qualifications.

Conclusions In conclusion, the accumulation of issues—overcrowding, safety hazards, poor hygiene, and lacking quality customer service—has significantly diminished the appeal of Bain Bleu. These factors, collectively undermining the spa's serene and exclusive potential, compelled us to leave early, reflecting the urgent need for improved management and operational policies. I would gladly pay more for a return to the high-quality experience Bain Bleu once provided, rather than endure its current approach that sacrifices guest...

This is a public swimming pool without basic hygienic equipment.

First of all, it was dirty. Not just the venue. Normally once you are exiting your changing room or entering the “spa/pool”, there should be a mandatory rinse waterfall area for hygienic reasons/ feet conditions, just to lightly rinse your body. There is none despite the venue is huge. You can just go directly to the water without showering restrictions. You will be dipping in everyone’s shower water directly. Please put a mandatory shower before the public water area. For customers, remember to being your own flip flop, it’s dirty.

The water, was less than warm, which is extra gross for me. After the experience I had to deeply shower twice, not being a crazy person here but the smell of chlorine, on top of that there were a weird layer sticking on my skin and difficult to get rid of. The smell was very strong it lasted for two days. Avoid this place if you have skin conditions as the hygiene level is very doubtful.

The changing room was very dark and dirty as usual (essential moment for flip flops). I barely see anything and it was very crowded plus the shower was very weak, there were not enough of shower space and no one knows they should have rinse themselves before getting in and out. It needs more lights (so people can read!), instructions of usage so people would understand the house rules, and understand why. Also some signs like “we don’t swim in our toilet, so don’t pee in the pool” would works.

The venue inside was lack of directory and guide. Please guide your customers by putting up more signs.

It’s too crowded, there are barely space for some pool and everyone was just trying to get drunk and do many pictures, meanwhile you might be uncomfortable in their pictures. It needs crowded control and staff to remove glassware of drink, and maybe a note about excluding strangers on their photos.

The shelf of public area for your towel or small personal items, no one really clean it and it was either wet or dirty. Again not hygienic.

Food and drinks were so-so. Overall it’s not worth the price.

It was a celebration for our marriage but we can’t really enjoy it. We feel sorry about it as the business has a great location and interesting activities. We will never go back again due to the hygienic level unless it...
