We went in the last week of July. It was super crowded with passes for most of the adventure activities sold out. We waited 90 minutes to try the First Glider activity and the line for mountain carts was even longer. The adventure activities are good though. Book the passes in advance to ensure you get to do the activities. the cliff walk is beautiful.We also spent some time just sitting in the grass in the valley and looking at the mountains, taking in the views. Read moreThe hub of all activity in Grindelwald . The cable car from the Grindelwald cable car station ( about 7/8 min walk from Grindelwald train station ) . It is a 25 min ride to the top - Grindelwald First. There are clear signs to the Bachalpsee alpine walk as well as the Tissot cliff walk . Good places to eat / washrooms and souvenir shops as well.

Read moreGrindelwald and the drive up the mountain to Dorf is for sure one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. We drove up through the winding roads and stopped so many times along the way to take pictures. It’s just so beautiful. Must try the mountain cart. We had so much fun racing down. The queue was long, easily an hour wait, but totally worth it. Can be a bit cold so remember to bring a jacket. If it wasn’t because of the queue we’d have gone for another round....
