We had zero expectation of First Glider as our original first choice activity was First Flyer, which was unfortunately closed on the day. We were also disappointed when we saw the "Close" sign at the door as we were told (by a not very friendly staff) that it would be closed for the rest of the day due to the wet weather, even though we had already brought 2 activities tickets at the ticket office but he said we weren't getting a refund. However, we were fortunate enough that it was re-opened 15 minutes later. This time we were greeted by a much more welcoming lady staff. There were only a few people in front of us in the queue so we didn't have to wait for long. The safety jackets were heavy, but the staff was very patient to help my wife to put it on. The ride began with flying backward and it was FAST! But soon the scary feeling had become amazing feeling! We loved the bird's eye view of the snow and landscape beneath us and saw us moving further and further from the starting point. The return journey was equally amazing and we were actually feel like flying. The whole journey took only a minute, we wished we could do it again, again and again! We didn't try First Flyer but First Glider was definitely very excitedly fun. It was the highlight of our Switzerland trip. I will highly recommend it...

However we saw many people that didn't have any ticket and they paid directly there. They accept only card/ twint. If we knew that the queue would have been so long,we wouldn't have booked it. We booked actually a package for two activities and we didn't have the time to do the second activity, even though we arrived around 10 o clock in the morning.. the first Flyer had even larger queue... One couldn't see in the queue any Swiss person, it is 100% a touristic activity and they have taken advantage of it. Did we feel silly? A little bit.. if the situation with the long queue won't change, I wouldn't recommend it. There are other amazing activities to do in Switzerland rather than spend one day...

The company responded to similar reviews below that they are 'learning from this'' and are trying to 'improve' things. The fact that these reviews continue to be posted over the years shows that this is not the case, and that the company clearly prioritises over-selling tickets to maximise profit, rather than creating a genuinely enjoyable experience for their customers. This is particularly true given that the company is under no obligation to refund you if the activities are closed because of the weather.
