We arrived with a stroller for our daughter. Signs pointed us to stairs, so we called them to ask whether there is some way to access the building without stairs. They said no, laughed at us, said that's the way it is and hung up. Never seen such behaviour from museum staff before. In occasione del compleanno di Federica, abbiamo avuto il piacere di partecipare a un’attività organizzata al MUSEC di Lugano che si è rivelata non solo originale, ma anche profondamente educativa. Il moderatore, Fabrizio Brusorio, ha saputo coinvolgere con grande entusiasmo tutti gli invitati in un affascinante percorso culturale alla scoperta delle monete dell’Africa antica, rendendo il tema accessibile e interessante anche per i più piccoli.

Dopo questa prima parte, Fabrizio ha guidato i bambini — tutti intorno ai 7 anni — in un laboratorio creativo dove ciascuno ha potuto realizzare una propria scultura, ispirata agli oggetti e alle storie appena scoperte. È stato bellissimo vedere i bambini così concentrati, curiosi e coinvolti, mentre davano forma alla propria fantasia.

Un grande grazie al moderatore per la sua passione, competenza e capacità di trasformare una festa di compleanno in un’esperienza culturale memorabile. The museum is rather small but very well kept. We visited an japanese exhibition, came 1h before closing time and the person selling us the ticket warned us that we where short on time.
