DOMINOLUGANO — Restaurant in Circolo di Lugano ovest

I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience at Domino Lugano. As soon as we entered, the staff’s body language and cold attitude made us feel unwelcome. We were refused service with no explanation, and while nothing offensive was said directly, the way we were treated felt discriminatory — especially as visibly Muslim visitors.

To make matters worse, I noticed a menu item called “Pizza Mohammed.” As a Muslim, I found this deeply offensive. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a sacred figure in Islam, and using his name to label a pizza — especially without cultural sensitivity — shows a lack of respect toward an entire faith. It would never be acceptable to name a dish after a revered figure in Christianity or Judaism like this.

Whether intentional or not, this comes across as Islamophobic, and it’s incredibly disappointing to see in a country that claims to value dignity and tolerance.

We were there a few days back, and the old lady was unfortunately very rude. It's a pity as the restaurant is located in a very beautiful area but It seems that the old lady has some issues she will not even smile or speak in a nice way. She was even serving some welcome bread to the other tables, which she didn't do for our table. Anyways I am sure she will lose lots of clients, and eventually, she will be treated in the same way. Some people, when they look at you and think you are better than them they just get sick and think if they disrespect you or treat you in a disrespectful way, then they have won a battle. For what you pay it isnt worth it . I should have known before ordering as there was about 40pizzas on the menu usually when a place has this much choice its never a good sign.

We ordered two pizzas .Bearly any toppings put on the pizza.The tomato sauce was really cheap stuff from a can and tasted sour on top of this they absolutely drounded the pizza with it.

The dough is nothing special I could make something like that with a regular oven at home.

My girlfriend asked for some extra rocket leaves on her pizza and ended up getting charged 4CHF for that amount I would have expected gold shavings on top of the pizza.

Honestly don't bother...
