Read moreAn amazing amazing place to be. People can usually go here to buy Lindt chocolates and it's located right near the Lindt and sprugeli chocolate factory. But I took a chocolate tour!!!!!!! It's definitely worth CHF 16/-. What more? This will be the only day in the life of a chocolate lover where you will feel that there is more chocolate available than you can eat. First, it was a dream place to be! So click a lot of pictures at the entrance. Then you are greeted by an employee with a free chocolate 😊. The shop itself is overwhelming because of the variety of chocolates and the way in which they are displayed. Many premium varieties are also available. Stone of them even have testers and they had many offers while I was there. Then you are shown a ten minute movie about the story of Lindt chocolate making. It's very innovative. At the end of this you have a proper ceremonious chocolate tasting experience where a chef will give you four different varieties of basic chocolate and tell you step by step how to appreciate a premium quality chocolate and how to properly taste it! It's worth the wait 😝 Then out of nowhere we have more than 30 different varieties of chocolate samples waiting for us!!!!!!!! All this while the chef will happily answer all your questions and is also ready to be clicked 💝 It's something definitely worth trying for people visiting Switzerland, but for chocolate lovers it's...

If you have the Zurich card you are meant to get a 10% discount but there is no way to do this online and purchase the tickets in advance.
The public transport directions on the website are non-existent it just transfers you to the public transport website without explanation. We had to give multiple groups directions on the way back about where to walk. This route probably needs signage.
The signage in the foyer is actually very unclear about where you are meant to go. The main desk was chaos with about 20 people in line so you couldn’t ask for directions.
There are signs saying you can’t take prams up but then there is no where secure to store them. But as there were no staff people just took prams anyway.
There was a large tour group who was just allowed to block large sections at a time.
Having been to a number of similar types of factory tours (eg Guinness or Heniken) it was fairly average and over crowded. It didn’t feel like a lot of thought had gone into the tour. The tasting of the chocolate was the best part.
Overall it was disappointing and I wished we had done...
