Wonderful slopes. There are two blue and several red slopes. There was even one black segment there. If you are newby, it is highly recommend to arrange a ski instructor who would lead you through different slopes and show what to do and what not to do. The journey begins in Leukerbad with the ropeway. The price is quite high (we paid 82 CHF for both, that was including 10% discount given by the guest card which you get in your hotel). Read moreThe mountain itself is lovely, but unfortunately not the service of this cable car. The operator did not speak English, French, Dutch or German, so my partner and I had a lot of difficulty communicating, and thus a hard time understanding the conditions of our imminent hike.
After spending 200 francs for us both (for 2 days lift), we were expecting a 10 franc return deposit for our lift cards, but we couldn't get it back in the end. We wasted so much time trying to do this, and wouldn't recommend their passes.
In fact, would only recommend to stay on the French side of the alps... we had a much better time...
