We stumbled upon Golden India during our trip and were absolutely blown away—not only by the food, but also by the warmth and hospitality we received. From the moment we walked in, our server Gurdeep made us feel like honored guests. He greeted us with the kindest smile, helped us navigate the menu, and was genuinely attentive throughout the entire meal without ever being intrusive.

We ordered the lamb curry, lamb biryani, and garlic naan—and every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The lamb was incredibly tender, the spices were aromatic but balanced, and the naan was hot, fluffy, and perfectly crisp around the edges. You could taste the freshness in every bite. Portions were generous but not overwhelming—ideal for sharing and savoring.

What made the evening even more special was the setting. The restaurant has a cozy, inviting atmosphere and our table had a breathtaking view of the mountains as the sun was setting. It honestly felt like we were dining in a postcard. The soft background music, combined with the delicious food and peaceful scenery, created a magical experience we won’t forget.

What a hidden gem! Nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Golden India is a cozy and welcoming spot that truly surprised us. The atmosphere is warm and intimate — perfect after a long day in the mountains.

The food was incredible — bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was delicious, from the rich curries to the freshly baked naan. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite.

To top it all off, the service was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly staff member who, to our surprise and delight, spoke Portuguese — right in the middle of the Alps! It made the whole experience even more special and personal.
