Spiez is a must-stop when traveling from Bern to the Oberland. This charming little town, nestled on the shores of Lake Thun, is crowned by the majestic Niesen — a pyramid-shaped mountain that adds a dramatic flair to the landscape. Spiez is my new favorite place to come back and revisit in Swiss. The view is spectacular: gorgeous water colour, little yachts, mountainside, flowers and greeneries, old architecture. If you have time, you can explore the local beach area. The entrance has a fee, but torally worth it. I love Montreux and Lucerne, this is something different. As some people mention, it has a...
