In short: Lenzerheide is the gold standard for ski resorts in Switzerland.

The ski resort itself is on the larger size by Swiss standards, with the connection to Arosa. Well equipped (constant investments), it will keep skiers from all levels happy.

Good freeride / powder section are available between slopes in case of good snowfalls. Do note that you will find more blue slopes in Arosa.

Artificial snow is all right but southern-facing slopes will feel the lack of snow faster than a very high altitude resort would.

In terms of pricing, the day tickets aren’t cheap per se; but none of the LAAX excesses (eg no fast-track passes) or St. Moritz luxury. More bang for your...
