What a find! Chesa Clois 24 is literally five minutes’ easy walk from the Lenzerheide town centre from where free buses shuttle to the various ski lifts.||||Check-in was easy – it’s managed by efficient and amiable Anglo-Swiss couple Deborah and Fritz Gerber, for whom nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay.||||Our corner apartment was comfortably spacious and surrounded on two sides with balconies offering views of the mountains and down the valley. The mail living room had a sizeable dining corner and an L-shaped lounge area. It doubles as the main bedroom, with beds that easily fold away during the day.||||The well-appointed separate kitchen is fully kitted-out for self-catering. There is a small but very luxurious heated indoor swimming pool, which is free for guests. There is also reliable free WiFi internet in the reception area, as well as a dedicated internet computer if you don’t have your own laptop.||||Other recreational facilities include a bowling alley, a pool table, ping-pong, a delightfully retro pinball machine, and a special playroom for small children. Outside parking is free. Covered parking is also available, but limited in high season, so make sure to reserve a space in advance.||||The complex is completely geared for the winter sport season, with a special ski room for storing and drying equipment. However, from its position at the heart of the Raetian Alps, it’s also within easy reach of spectacular trekking, cycling and day drives, it would be a great mountain getaway at any time...
