Krishna Tempel Zürich (ISKCON) — Attraction in Zurich

Beautiful and serene Krishna temple. There is a lecture program every Sunday around 3 pm, followed by a vegetarian Prasadam (Feast). Must visit for anyone who is on a spiritual journey or wants to begin their spiritual journey. The Temple devotees and team are very welcoming. You can also find Srila Prabhupada's books at the book shop (which is open on Sunday evenings and on major festivals). Various festivals like, Shri Krishna Janamashtmi, Narasimha Chaturdashi, Gaura Poornima, Nityanada Trayodashi, Jagannatha Rath Yatra are celebrated with great enthusiasm. I also attended a nice seminar on "Glories of Tulasi Maharani", which was conducted in the Seminar Room. If you live in Zurich and are looking for serenity and enlightenment. Then visit the Krishna temple on betgstrasse. With easy access via tram no.5/6 to Kirsche Fluntern and then bus 33 to Hofstrasse. The temple is then few minutes from there on foot. We arrived and was welcome by Probhu Radha Mahadev. They were performing Kirton at the time and we joined them. Followed by a tour by himself around the temple. Very impressive painting & Krishana deities. We were then invited participate in taking some Mahaprasadam( free vegetarian food). Absolutely delicious food followed by dessert, all free. Then we had chance to buy some souvenirs & books. We left by leaving a small donation which wasn't asked for. Today we’ve gone to Zurich for a class trip and the teachers gave us some free hours before lunchtime. I took this as an opportunity and walked immediately to the temple, with much excitement.
