MANOR Zürich Letzipark — Attraction in Zurich

I had a very disappointing experience with customer service at this store. Yesterday, I purchased a swimming jacket that inflates by blowing air into it. After realizing it had a defect, I returned it without any issue.

Today, I wanted to check another model for my baby. I asked the staff if they could inflate it using a machine to ensure it was suitable before I purchased it. They agreed to inflate only part of it and told me to blow up the rest myself. I did so, but unfortunately, it was not the right fit for my child, so I decided not to buy it.

At this point, a staff member became visibly upset and started speaking to my husband and me in a loud and disrespectful tone, insisting we had to buy the product. This reaction was not only unprofessional but also unacceptable, especially since I had asked them beforehand to test the item and they had refused to do it fully with their machine.

In Switzerland, customers have the right to inspect products before purchase, especially when health and safety for children are concerned. I believe I acted reasonably and respectfully. I hope the store management will take this feedback seriously and work on improving their customer...

I spent an hour strolling around the store taking photos of items I planned to buy later this month and picking up items I needed now until the very last minute, being helped by a lovely assistant to look for items and put them away to the checkout.

At 20:00 I got called to the register by said assistant, and when I got there at 20:01, all of the cashier registers were closed, I was rudely denied service by one of the other employees who was already counting cash. (I had a debit card with me)

Alas, since the customer service was disrespectful I chose to say that I won't come back to the store again, not tomorrow, not ever.

They need to be better at informing their customers about their actual opening hours. Nowhere does it say their watch specialist is only around Monday-Thursday 9 am to 6 pm, not 8 pm. You have to come in person and then have them tell you a service listed as available isn't. And sometimes even during that time there's no watch maker because this one is constantly ill. If it was a one off its fine but this happens multiple times and the staff there aren't apologetic, and usually more annoyed at you for not knowing something that isn't listed anywhere online, than anything. Don't bother going there for watch service, you're better off literally...
